A Race for Life: From Cancer to a Vegan World-Class Triathlete
Thursday, April 25   7 – 9 pm

We are hosting Dr. Ruth Heidrich, the iron-woman who made her dreams a reality and recovered from cancer to become a world-class athlete by adopting a plant-based diet! With a Ph.D. in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology, she has great information to share on beating cancer without chemo/radiation, maintaining a healthy weight without dieting, reversing arthritis, diabetes type 2, osteoporosis, and why what you eat and how you exercise is so important, especially as you age (like her at 78!). We request $5 – $10 sliding scale, which includes yummy raw organic vegan snacks from the cafe!
