Organic Licorice root powder

Description

A legume native to southern Europe and parts of Asia, the licorice plant has been used as medicine in Ayurveda for rejuvenation. While having a similar flavour to anise, star anise, and fennel, it is botanically unrelated. Compounds in licorice have shown antiviral, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, liver protective, and blood pressure-increasing effects. With 30-50 times the sweetness of sugar, it is enjoyable in teas and tinctures. Grown in Egypt.
