Description
Cloves are the unopened pink flower buds of the evergreen clove tree. In addition to adding unique flavour to ginger bread and pumpkin pie, they are yummy in split pea and bean soups, baked beans and chili. Cloves have anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anaesthetic properties, and contain a significant amount of manganese, and smaller amounts of vitamin K, iron, calcium, and magnesium. Grown in Sri Lanka.
