Fo-ti, also known as He Shou Wu, is an astringent root herb that has been used as an anti-aging tonic in China for centuries. Research indicates that Fo-ti contains an alkaloid which promotes rejuvenation of the nerves, brain cells, and endocrine glands. It also helps detoxify the body and stimulate the adrenal glands.
