Description
Cat’s Claw is a tropical vine that clings to 100-ft tall trees in the tropical rainforests of South and Central America. In traditional Peruvian medicine it is used to treat various health problems, particularly digestive as well as inflammatory issues, such as arthritis. Compounds within Cat’s Claw are believed to increase immune response and to rid the body of free radicals and to facilitate DNA repair. A typical dose is 1 g, 2-3x per day, steeped in hot water 5-10min with a few drops of lemon juice to release the tannins within. Sweeten or spice as desired. Grown in Peru.
