Made from the edible, large bean-like pods of the mesquite tree, mesquite has a sweet malty caramel-maple flavour that is low glycemic and contains fiber, protein, calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron and zinc. Enjoy in juice, smoothies, desserts, chocolates, dips, in baking, and as a sweetener. Grown in Peru.
