Holiday Bulk Ordering

To make your holidays a little easier (and a lot tastier), we are offering a wide variety of our specialty drinks, treats and food in larger bulk quantities for you to take home and share with your family and friends during the holidays. From Rosemary Hot Chocolate to Pumpkin Pie, healthy soup to Mushroom Gravy, Holiday Meals, Shortbread Cookies and so much more – we’ve got you covered for some delicious additions to your festivities.

We have 2 lists – Items that don’t require pre-ordering and items that do. For the items that do, please give us a couple days notice. Remember, we close early on December 24th at 5pm for Christmas Eve so you must pick up your items before then!

Starter Plants are in!

We received our last order of starter plants a few weeks ago. Anything that’s left is now 50% off.

It’s Spring!
Time to start gardening!

We are now receiving beautiful little organic starter plants from Friesen Farms twice a week now, on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Here is where you’ll find our stock list. It will be updated once with every delivery. Due to how fast the stock sells, in order to find out our most current and up-to-date stock, please come down to the store to see for yourself. And here’s a sweet deal: if you buy 6, you’ll get the 7th plant FREE!

As of Friday May 29th, we received:

  • Japanese Long Eggplant
  • Zucchini: Green and Yellow
  • Marketmore Cucumbers

Visit us during the Hot Chocolate Festival!

We are so happy to participate in the yearly city-wide Hot Chocolate Festival (Jan 19-Feb 14), offering up organic drinks and treats that are also vegan and gluten free but not at all lacking in tastiness!

Our first entry from Jan 19 – Feb 1 is “A Kinder Caramel” – a salted caramel hot chocolate paired with a gluten-free shortbread cookie. Caramel is traditionally not very kind, made from unhealthy and cruel dairy products like cow’s milk, cream and butter. We don’t dig that, so we make our caramel with creamy coconut milk and cashews. The result is a smooth, rich, sweet, chocolate and caramel drink that won’t leave you missing anything.

From Feb 2 – 14 we will offer “Merry Berry”, a raspberry hot chocolate using BC-grown organic raspberries (never with fake syrups). It will be served with a Raspberry Lemon Square.

 

 

Join us for Valentine’s Dinner

Eternal Abundance is hosting a five course Valentine’s prix fixe dinner on Feb 14th. The menu includes raw and cooked food options, as well as a wine pairing option.

Holiday treats and drinks

‘Tis the season for holiday treats, and as always we’re offering delicious healthy small batches of our favourite seasonal foods. Come by to enjoy Mince Pie, Pumpkin Pie, or (or and!) a piece of Shortbread. For Drinks we’ve also got Hot Apple Cider and Hemp Nog.

All of these treats can be enjoyed during Happy Hour every weekday from 4-6pm. Buy one dessert and one hot drink and receive $1 off!

Winter Potluck and Book Drive with Emily from This Rawsome Vegan Life

Winter Vegan Potluck and Book DriveEveryone is invited to spend an evening enjoying good company, good conversation, and GREAT food! This year’s Winter Potluck is on Sun, Nov 17 at 7:30pm! Hosted by Emily of This Rawsome Vegan Life and Eternal Abundance, it will also be a book drive benefitting EcoJustice. Emily will bring many of her barely-psed vegan cookbooks available for donation for $5-$20. It’s a great time to stock up on recipes and literature, for yourself or as gifts!

ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW:
– Bring one vegan dish that will serve at least 6 people.
– It’d be great if you could post what dish you’re gonna bring.
– Label the ingredients for people with sensitivities.
– BRING YOUR OWN PLATE AND CUTLERY.
– We will start eating around 7:45.
– You do not have to be vegan to participate! But you do have to be a nice person. NO racism, sexism, ableism, body-shaming, transphobia or homophobia allowed. Ask for people’s pronouns and respect them. ♥

On Tues, Dec 13 we close at 5pm for our staff holiday party.

Our holiday hours are as follows:
Dec 24 ~ 9am – 4pm
Dec 25 & 26 ~ closed to enjoy the holidays
Dec 27 – 30 ~ regular hours
Dec 31 ~ 9am-9pm (or earlier if quiet)
Jan 1 & Jan 2 ~ closed for more rest
Jan 3 onwards ~ open regular hours

 

Holiday Customer Appreciation Day

Customer Appreciation DayOur monthly Customer Appreciation Day offers the entire market at 15% off. It takes place the last Wednesday of every month, except in December when it’s the Wednesday prior to Christmas. This year it falls on Wed, Dec 21.

Pick up fruit and veg, grains, spices, or a recipe book for the holiday meal. We also offer many practical healthy gifts for friends and family!
