Description
Juniper is a shrub native to Europe, Asia, and parts of North America that has been used for centuries for digestive problems such as upset stomach, heartburn, bloating, flatulence, and loss of appetite; GI infections and intestinal worms; respiratory issues such as asthma, coughing and wheezing, as well as a diuretic. The irritating effect of the oils in the berry promotes healthy kidney and bladder function. Used as a common ingredient in sauerkraut and other dishes.
